SoftSquare Shipping Gateway Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 14, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the SoftSquare Shipping Gateway WordPress/WooCommerce plugin and the related SoftSquare Shipping Gateway service operated by SoftSquare.

By installing, activating, configuring, or using the plugin or related service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not install, activate, configure, or use the plugin or service.

1. About the Service

SoftSquare Shipping Gateway is a third-party integration for WooCommerce that connects a merchant’s WooCommerce store with TCS Pakistan for shipment booking, shipment management, tracking, and related courier functions.

The plugin is developed and maintained by SoftSquare and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially supported by TCS. TCS is a trademark of its respective owner.

The plugin uses the SoftSquare Shipping Gateway service to communicate with TCS. The WooCommerce website does not communicate directly with TCS through the plugin.

2. Eligibility and Authorized Use

You may use the plugin only if:

  • You have the authority to administer the WooCommerce store on which it is installed.
  • You have the necessary rights and permissions to provide customer and order information to the courier and SoftSquare.
  • You have valid TCS credentials where required.
  • Your use of the service complies with applicable laws, regulations, courier requirements, and these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information submitted through the plugin is accurate and that your use of the service is authorized.

3. TCS Account and Credentials

The plugin may require TCS API credentials, including an API username, password, bearer token, account number, customer number, and cost centre information.

These credentials are provided by TCS, not by SoftSquare.

You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining valid TCS credentials.
  • Keeping your credentials confidential.
  • Using credentials only for an account you are authorized to access.
  • Ensuring that the credentials correspond to the correct TCS environment.
  • Immediately notifying the relevant party if you believe your credentials have been compromised.

SoftSquare does not guarantee that TCS will issue, maintain, or continue to support any particular API credentials.

4. Shipment Information

When you book a shipment, the plugin may transmit information required to process the shipment, including recipient name, shipping address, city, postcode, country, telephone number, email address, order information, COD amount, order total, currency, parcel weight, number of pieces, service information, cost centre, and shipment contents.

Depending on your configuration, product descriptions, quantities, prices, and SKUs may also be transmitted.

This information is transmitted because it is necessary to process and manage the shipment. The plugin’s documented data flows are described in its external-services and privacy documentation.

5. Customer Data and Privacy

You are responsible for providing customers with appropriate privacy notices and obtaining any consent or authorization required by applicable law.

If your business is subject to privacy or data-protection laws, including GDPR or similar regulations, you should determine the appropriate legal basis for processing customer information and identify SoftSquare and the relevant courier or carrier appropriately in your privacy documentation.

SoftSquare will process information according to its Privacy Policy.

6. Courier Services
